Finding time for anything beyond studying is a challenge for most medical students. Being a medical student will involve working harder than you’ve ever worked in your life and of course, there isn’t much time for working out in medical school.
Sure, I gained a lot of weight during my med school, due to lack of sleep, time, stress and poor diet. This was until the day I felt I could not live my life this way any longer. After trying every diet on planet earth, I decided that I didn’t want to live my life within the confines of a program or by a set of “rules” that someone else just made up off the top of their head. I did my own research and found out what would work best for me and my lifestyle, so I have lost over 46 Ibs (21 kg) and achieved what I thought was impossible.
I believe that “you are your first Doctor, food is your first medicine, and kitchen is your first Pharmacy,” and that what you put in your body will affect how you feel, your energy level and your sense of well being. This lead me to start “HealthCatch” for awakening the Doctor within you. This is what I want for you!! I want you to become your own Doctor and catch your health back! “You owe yourself the love that you so freely give to other people.”
I hope to inspire and help others be their best selves and make positive changes!
